Wander is an interactive video installation, which takes the viewer along on a journey through the twilight world of an enchanting little girl. On her quest for happiness, the girl is constantly pulled back and forth between life in the deep sea and up above, never really belonging to either.
Both worlds come to life vividly on five big windows of a monumental music school. Ambient sounds from the school, the street, and the crowd will influence the girl's surroundings and her actions.
Zesbaans presents Wander during Lumineus Amersfoort from 11 November until 30 December 2009. December 2: presentation at BeamLab.
